JUICEBOX

Joey Box, an Ivy League drop out, ditched fancy private college for a rural, unassuming life in upstate New Jersey. She most certainly did not ask to become the personal blood bag, er, JUICEBOX, to Lola, the resident sexy vampire goddess. In order to stay alive (and keep Lola from cannibalizing the rest of the town), Joey has to swallow her pride and admit defeat at the hands of her pink clad rival. If only Lola wasn’t so smug about it.

JUICEBOX is first and foremost an homage to all things Jennifer’s Body, as well as Twilight, American Psycho, and most embarrassingly, The Clique novels by Lisi Harrison. It is also an analysis on the rocky relationships of young women exploring their gender and sexuality, as well as how affection can often be mistaken for competition. 

This version of JUICEBOX is the 3 main comics, as well as a prologue comic and 3 mini comics. It also includes several never-before-seen illustrations, guest illustrations, commentary, and other goodies, for a total of 130 pages.

JUICEBOX, while always portrayed humorously, is a comic about a vampire. Therefore, it contains some slight themes of blood, violence, and girl on girl cannibalism.
